Lara obtained her LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2021 and completed her articles at the firm, after which she was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2024.

Lara practises across a broad range of legal areas, with a particular focus on general litigation, commercial litigation, and Magistrates’ Court proceedings. Her expertise further extends to contractual disputes, High Court motion proceedings, and various aspects of regulatory and compliance matters.

Passionate and driven, Lara believes that when passion and purpose align with commitment, what once seemed impossible becomes certain. Lara is also currently pursuing her notarial studies with the intention of being admitted as a Notary Public.

Outside of her legal practice, Lara enjoys travelling abroad, immersing herself in different cultures, and exploring new destinations. She also appreciates spending time in nature and has a keen interest in classical and rock music, literature, and photography.
